ROBIN (Jarrod) HOOD

Jarrod Ellicott (left) shows off  his rare feat of "Robin Hooding" an arrow

shot by Rowan Drinkwater (right).

"Robin Hooding" where one arrow splits, or in this case enters or jams up the

back end of another is considered a rare feat in archery.

Jarrod will have a rather long trophy to hang up in his bedroom

Tori Watson (man of the moment) makes the rare feat as described

above not so rare. Tori has had his set of Beman ICS's for about 10 days

before performing a "Robin Hood"

ROBIN (Peter) HOOD

Peter Cave achieved this unusual "Robin Hood" on our indoor range

The unusual is beginning to be a little regular

Peter was using 2114 X7 Eclipses

At least it was a 10.

ROBIN (Michael) HOOD

Michael Robinson becomes our 4th Robin Hood this year. It's beginning to look like

Beman ICS's are the go for achieving a Robin Hood. No.2 to the Beman's

We think Michael enjoyed the experience but not the expense.

ROBIN (Tori) HOOD

It's that man Tori again, this time it's the president's arrow that has been victimised,

not to mention the president himself. Once again it those Beman ICS's into an ICS reject

(a Safari - Both 500's) T.I.E.T

7 months down the track it's Jarrod Ellicott again, once more its a set of arrows that

was borrowed (very costly for the boss) The arrows were 1416 E75 Easton Gold.

Even skinny arrows are capable of  "Robin Hooding"

ROBIN (Michael) HOOD

2 R/Hs to Tori, 2 R/Hs to Jarrod and not to be outdone, it's now 2 R/Hs to

Michael Robinson, It's those Beman ICS rejects (Safaris) They have simply

conquered all others in the "Robin Hood" Stakes

ROBIN (Tori) HOOD

Tori has taken the lead 3 R/H's puts him in the lead by 1, its starting to be

an expensive competition for the most Robin Hooded arrows for 2000

Once more it's those trusty Beman ICS's

ROBIN (Michael) HOOD

Michael, the comeback kid has dug deep into his wallet for this one and has

again levelled the score 3 R/H's to Michael & 3 R/H's to Tori

You guessed it, it's those Bemans again.

Talk about Michael being the comeback kid, this R/H has to be the comeback

of all comebacks. Just to rub salt into the wound Tori has adopted the economy

approach, he has delivered on his prizes A/C/E's into the back of  Michael's

arrow,  (the R/H bunny arrow - a Beman ICS) The A/C/E is recoverable.

The lead once again swings  in Tori's favour, but the cost goes to Michael

ROBIN (Michael) HOOD

What can you say, apart from a multitude of comebacks (I'm beginning to loath that word)

Well it is the the silly season, and I guess that puts Michael's archery career on a temporary

hold due to a lack of funds - or will Zoe's intended Christmas present be a little smaller?

It may well be a new set of arrows (Michael's size). Around A/C/E 430's instead of

those rabbit arrows.
