When crossing the field, archers must walk behind all shooters. Do not ask a fellow archer to cease shooting so as to cross in front.
Shooting must cease if a member of the public crosses the field in front of the shooting line or behind the target butts. Shooting may not recommence until that member of the public has reached a safe area. The member of the public is not to be abused.
Drawing or pointing a bow above the height of the target butts is illegal.
90 metre shooting where practical shall take place in the first instance on eastern side of the field.
One (1) butt must be closed between lanes if shooting is to take place at 5 metre intervals. In this case, shooting shall be deemed to be from a common line and all arrows are to be collected simultaneously.
Two (2) butts must be closed between lanes if shooting is to take place at 10 metres intervals. In this case, shooting shall be deemed to be from a common line and all arrows are to be collected simultaneously.
Three (3) butts or more must be closed between lanes if shooting is to take place at intervals greater than 10 metres. In this case, arrows may be collected independently.
The first six butts on the western side of the field may not be used for practice at distances greater than 40 metres.
10. Where at all practical shorter distances are to be shot on western side of the field progressing to longer distances on the eastern side.

a. All hall doors are to be locked internally and the safety chain lock to be put on. 2b. The "Caution Archery in Progress" sign to be displayed on the outside of the main hall entrance doors. Shooting cannot take place in the hall while equipment is be being set up in the same hall.
Equipment may not be set up in the hall while shooting is taking place.
All indoor shooting, without exception is to take place from a common shooting line. If different distances are required e.g. bow tuning, the portable indoor butts are to be moved.
