A new kid on the block for the Robin Hood stakes for 2001 is Marcel. Marcel has just RH'd Beman Hunters

(same brand) but extremely difficult to RH. Marcel has that determined look and threatens to

make a major impact on the tournament scene for 2001

Michael, last years equal winner has opened his account for 2001 with a neat indoor RH

The old faithful arrows are becoming depleted and a change of arrow type is imminent.

Will this be Michael's last RH? We doubt it as he thrives on a daily warm up of approx

300 shots!!

2001 sees Kenny Jeans scoring his first RH and take an early break in the Robin Hood Arrow stakes

(they make good ones) for this season. Ken had been a full financial member of MAC for 1 hour

Alex O'Keefe has just scored his first RH and intends

to make a trophy of his achievement.

Once again the choice of arrow were those trusty,

tried and proven Beman ICS's (Safari) and it looks

like a purchase of several more will be needed to

top up his dwindling set.

Jack Waltham has set about to prove that other arrows are capable of RH status.

Jack who is no stranger to a good performance, has performed a nice little act with a set of the Boss's

1916 Easton Jazz's.

Jack is our 5th. different "Robin Hooder" for 2001.

Henning Hartung has entered the RH race for this season by becoming the 6th different "RHer".

We are yet to achieve a duel exponent for 2001.

Henning chose a near mint set of

2014 Easton Eclipses for his first RH effort.

Unfortunately he was unable to keep them as trophy as he needed the arrow to complete the round.

Hamish has opened his Robin Hood account for this year by neatly taking out one of his fellow competitors and a previous point scorer

in the 2001 RH stakes Jack Waltham.

Hamish is our 7th "RHer" for this year.

Once again those trusty, tried and true Beman ICs's

were the responsible shafts. Pity production has ceased, maybe the number of RH's will decline

Craig Tyson

(former Australian & Victorian Junior Champion) after about 1 week into his comeback to the sport has made his intentions clear by achieving the club's 8th RH this year.

A trophy to show his children.

Craig's has made his return after approx.11 years.

Those Beman ICS's still rule the RH scene.

Peter Cave (we think under the beannie?)

our 9th "Robin Hooder" for the year, Peter RH'd his own Beman Carbon Divas, the shaft was neatly split all the way to the pile. Peter shot this shaft on Saturday which was a prelude of of thing to come, having won the club weekly round Peter went on to record his PB for a FITA the next day by shooting a 1331 (well done Peter)

Sandra Elliott our first "maid marion hood"

and the 10th. RHer for the year has given Mr. Easton

something to think about. A/C/E's are hard enough to

RH at anytime. Sandra managed to RH this arrow

with the supposedly RH prevention, the A/C/E

pin nock. Sandra was doing some close range walk

back tuning - I guess she forget to step back for this one. Well that's her story, just ask - if you dare!

Peter Cave is the 11th. archer in the RH stakes for 2001 and Peter also becomes our only dual RHer for this year so far. Peter paid out on a previous RHer , Henning Hartung. Petes slender Beman Racing Carbon was no match for the inviting & gaping rear end of Henning's Easton 2014 X7 Eclipse, with Beman disappearing to the nock.
